The mighty chino has been a mainstay of the preppy closet since the mid 1940s, when American soldiers returned home from WWII sporting khaki chinos and button-downs–and we've been perfecting them for almost as long. Crafted from a cotton twill fabric, they are updated this season with a slightly higher rise and a relaxed fit. They feature a straight leg, inseam side pockets and buttoned welt pockets at the back.
